Delivery

Since September 2017 we have started to dispatch some of our products directly from India. This is because we want to support the local economy and limit our carbon footprint.

Our dispatch unit in Bangalore is run by the unflappable Rosario ‘Rose’, aka Nirmala’s Dad. He is new to the Secret Projects team and is our man on the ground helping us with all sorts of errands. He is often seen on his trusty moped on his way to the post office with Secret Pillows!

Our dispatch unit in Guildford is run by our shipping guru Steve Vincent, aka Fritha’s Dad. He has been shipping products all over the world for a couple of years now and he’s our shipping and fulfilment supremo.

Steve and Rose are both retired and generously volunteer their time to help us unfold women’s power in India.

Orders are usually taken to the Post Office once a week, so if you are in a great hurry to receive your order, please let us know by adding a note when you check out; by emailing us at hello@secretprojects.org or by clicking on the Live Chat link on our website.

Below you will find details of how our products are sent but if you have a question and can’t find the answer below, do get in touch!

Products sent from our UK dispatch unit to a UK address

We use Royal Mail’s ‘48 hour service’. Despite the catchy name, our products may take more than 48 hours to reach you! If you think there has been a problem with your delivery please send an email to hello@secretprojects.org and we will investigate. Royal Mail provides limited tracking for packages sent using the 48 hour service.

For large orders, such as bulk orders of Secret Sari Dresses, or more than 2 Secret Pillows, we use a courier service like DPD, TNT or UPS. Your tracking number will be included in the fulfilment email we send you and you can monitor your delivery and schedule it to suit you. Simple!

Products like the Secret Sari Dress, Secret Scarf, Secret Skirt and Really Tiny Secret Pillows usually fit through the letter box. Our Secret Pillows do not!

Products sent from our UK dispatch unit to an international address

For international deliveries we either use Royal Mail who pass the order on to the destination country’s domestic postal service, or we use a courier company. Your tracking number will be included in the fulfilment email we send you. Some countries may charge import duty on your product. Please check before you order so that you don’t face any unexpected charges. If we suspect you might face an import duty charge we will contact you prior to shipping your order.

Occasionally a package will get held up in customs. If you think there has been a problem with your delivery please check with the courier company using your tracking number, or send an email to hello@secretprojects.org and we will investigate.
