A gentle, confidence-building session for anyone who thinks they can't sew. With friendly, hands-on support, you'll learn simple practical skills like sewing on a button, turning up a hem, and mending a beloved jumper.
Sarita, a volunteer of The Sewstainable Barn will guide you step by step through basic hand-sewing techniques, helping you feel comfortable and capable.
This workshop is all about giving new life to your favourite clothes by fixing altering, and extending their life, saving month, reducing waste and keeping the things you love in use for longer. No sewing experience needed, just curiosity and willingness to have a go.
