Home Education Craft & Sewing Sessions at The Sewstainable Barn

Every Monday morning 10am till 12 noon. The Sewstainable Barn is dedicated to children and young people who are home educated.

£10 per session

Each week we have a sewing or crafting activity planned, but our sessions are very much child-led, allowing children to explore their own interests, creativity and ideas in a welcoming and supportive environment.

To help us prepare materials and resources, we ask that bookings are made by the Friday of the previous week whenever possible. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

We do not run home school group during the school holidays because we often open the barn to children on holiday and take holiday ourselves.

Special Session – Monday 14 September 2026

10:00am – 12:00 noon
Triangle House, Pulborough (as featured on Grand Designs)

We're delighted to be offering a very special creative session at the remarkable Triangle House in Pulborough, famously featured on Grand Designs.

This unique morning will explore the fascinating world of self-build construction, sustainable design and Passive House living. Children and their carers will enjoy an exclusive guided tour of the house, learning about its innovative design, construction methods and energy-efficient features. Following the tour, everyone will have the opportunity to draw, design and paint their own dream self-build home, taking inspiration from everything they have seen.

We would love you to invite friends to join us for this exciting experience. Places are limited to 15 children, each accompanied by one carer.

Important Information:

  • 🕙 Time: 10:00am – 12:00 noon
  • 📍 Venue: Triangle House, Pulborough
  • 🚗 Please park at Tesco, Pulborough, and walk up to the house.
  • 👟 The house tour is a shoes-off experience to help protect the beautiful wooden floors.
  • 👨👩👧👦 Maximum of 15 children with one accompanying carer each.
