Tailor's in India cut and sew custom made outfits for their customers using many different types of fabric week in week out. The fabrics are anything from soft delicate silk to cotton block prints. The array of different fabrics and colours is quite amazing. Some tailor's will simply burn the fabrics at the end of the week because it is the most effective way of getting rid of the scraps. Our business in India, Social Power India, has started to collect tailor's scraps and sort them by colour. The piles of coloured fabric are simply beautiful. After sorting the larger pieces are pulled out and ironed and turned in to various products including these refillable lavender/gift bags. We sell them in sets of 4 or 8.
